Harry Roberts Thatching Services has been a complete thatching service since 2010. From 2017 we have started growing our own thatching straw to ensure our rooves are thatched with the best quality straw possible. We cover all areas from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas of East Anglia.
Thatch has been used for centuries and each thatch has its own historical story to tell. It is important that each thatch is re-worked with sympathy and pride, something which our company endeavours to do.
All of our work is guaranteed, and being a proud member of the National Society of Master Thatchers and the International Thatchers Association, we are governed to provide the best workmanship and quality thatching work in the industry.
Thatching material varies from combe wheat reed and long straw to water reed. I am one of the few thatchers that offers a harvest to home service.
